Nehemiah 10 (The SING Series)

When God’s Word and the Holy Spirit move in a surrendered heart, obedience stops being a burden and becomes a joyful expression of love. In Nehemiah 10, the Israelites responded to repentance by making a wholehearted commitment to follow God, honour His commands, and prioritise His house. Their transformation—from people distracted by sin and worldly comforts to a community devoted to God’s ways—reveals the power of genuine surrender. When we bring our sins to Jesus and yield to Him, He transforms us, enabling us to obey from a place of deep love rather than fear or obligation.

Nehemiah 9 (The SING Series)

Nehemiah 9 shows us a powerful response to God’s Word. The people, deeply convicted, come before Him with humility—fasting, confessing their sins, and worshipping wholeheartedly. They hold nothing back, choosing obedience over compromise and surrender over self. Their heartfelt prayer reminds us that God delights in a broken and contrite heart. Today, may we also respond with openness—allowing the Holy Spirit to convict, transform, and draw us closer to Him.

Nehemiah 2:1-10 (The SING Series)

This fourth article of "The S.I.N.G series," reflects on Nehemiah 2:1-10, focusing on Nehemiah's role as the king's cup bearer—a position of significant trust and responsibility in ancient Persia. Despite his high rank, Nehemiah was deeply burdened by the plight of his fellow Jews in Jerusalem. After months of fasting and prayer, he courageously presents his concerns to the king, using the door God miraculously opened for him. The blog emphasizes the importance of waiting in faith, preparing diligently for God's timing, and performing our duties with excellence as a reflection of our relationship with Jesus.
